On Thursday 15th September 2022, the District Chief Executive for Ho West, Hon. Ernest Victor Apau joined the Chiefs and people of Avatime to launch the 2022 brown rice festival on the theme: “Re-engaging for unity and development in Avatime through mountain brown rice culture and ecotourism” at Christ the King Parish, Accra.
Addressing them, the DCE conveyed pleasantries from H.E. the President and entire NPP fraternity. He gave highlights of government’s development programs and projects in the area.
He also charged them to continue taking advantage of government policies while promising to attend the main celebration together with other government officials when the time is due.
