HO WEST DISTRICT ESTABLISHES NURSERY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CCMI SUB-PROJECT UNDER THE LIPW OF THE GPSNP 2

The Ho West District Assembly through the Department of Agriculture is establishing nursery for the planting of Coconut, Cashew , Citrus and Oil palm seedlings for onwards distribution to farmers to help reduce climate change as well as improve the economic development of the people.

The objective of the project is to expand and enhance social safety net that improves the incomes and productivity of the extremely poor households by facilitating the linkages to existing agricultural intervention. It is also produce seedlings needed for the implementation of the Climate Change Mitigation Intervention (CCIM) Sub-project under the Labour Intensive Public Works (LIPWs) of the Ghana Productive Safety Net 2 ( GPSNP 2).
