On Thursday, 27th April 2023, a delegation of the Avatime Traditional Council funeral committee of the Okusie Akyem Foli V has paid courtesy call on the District Chief Executive.
The purpose of the visit was to formally inform the DCE and the Assembly of the final funeral rites and burial of the late Okusie Akyem Foli V, Chief of Amedzofe and Senior Divisional Chief of Avatime Traditional Area.
The leader of the delegation, Okusie Adza Bansa Dzapraka X, Chief of Dzogbefeme appeal to the Assembly to provide security to ensure a peaceful befitting burial to their Chief.
The District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor who received the delegation on behalf of the DCE expressed his condolence to the people of Amedzofe for the death of their Chief. He assured that the Assembly will give the needed support to ensure a peaceful burial.
