A delegation from the Saviefe Traditional Area paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive, Hon. Ernest Apau, at his office on Thursday, February 29th, 2024.
The delegation comprised of the Assembly Member of Saviefe Electoral Area, Hon. Maxwell Borfeli; Mr. Ameyorkor Sitsofe, Amankrado; Mr. Foh Christian, Elder; Mr. Loh Justin, Elder; and Mr. Nutsukpo Prosper, Tsiami.
The purpose of the visit was to officially announce the demise of the Divisional Chief of Saviefe Deme, Togbe Aganu II, and to seek final feedback from the government regarding the disappearance of Mr. George Akorli, a native of Saviefe Deme, who went missing on 27th November, 2017 at Alavanyo. Despite extensive search efforts, his whereabouts remain unknown.
Welcoming the delegation, the District Chief Executive expressed his heartfelt condolences to the entire community for their loss and assured them of the District Assembly’s support during this difficult time.
He further recommended to the delegation to write a letter of reminder to the Assembly regarding the missing person, to facilitate appropriate actions.
