The District Chief Executive for Ho West, Hon. Ernest Victor Apau, has advised school children to take advantage of the DCE’s self learning initiatives to enable them make judicious use of their time.
The Hon. DCE said this when he attended a quizz competition program organized for schools within the Abutia Circuit B. The purpose of the quizz was to encourage pupils to learn hard in order to improve their performance.
Hon Apau took the opportunity to remind them about Government programs and projects especially those that has been implemented in the area. He also admonished the school children to take the Covid 19 protocols serious and also be aware of the monkey pox, a new virus that has being detected in the country.
The DCE appreciated the teachers and community members for their various contribution towards improving education in the area. He also donated boxes of exercise books and cash to support the quizz competition.
Four (4) schools within the Abutia Circuit B participated in the competition. Competing schools included Abutia Togblave, Abutia Kpota, Abutia Adegblevi and Abutia Agordeke. Various prizes were given to the Contestants.
The District Chief Executive was accompanied by the Assembly Member for Abutia Kloe Electoral Area, Hon. Jacob Dzangba and the local New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives.
