The Ho West District Assembly has held its Third Quarter 2022 District Planning and Coordinating Unit (DPCU) meeting on Wednesday 7th September, 2022 at the District Assembly Hall.
The District Director of Social Welfare and Community Development, Mr. Roland Kumfo who chaired the meeting on behalf of the District Coordinating Director welcomed all members present to the meeting. He stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss development issues of the district and therefore charged members to bring out their views or submissions that will enable the committee develop strategies that will help to project and develop the District.
Heads of Department/Units and NGOs presented their 2022 second quarter progress report of their activities to members for discussions.
Mr. Ebenezer Nkrumah, the District Planning Officer (DPO) took members through the Review of 2022 Annual Action Plan. He also did a presentation on the 2023 Annual Action Plan and after deliberating on the document by members the 2023 Annual Action Plan was approved and recommended to appropriate committees for further discussions.
A team from JMK Consulting Limited also briefed members on the upcoming data collection exercise on household registration in October, 2022 by the Ghana National Household Registration (GNHR), a unit under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
