HO WEST DCE ENGAGES QUEEN MOTHERS

On 30th October, 2022, the Ho West District Chief Executive,  Honourable Ernest Victor Apau engaged Queen Mothers Association of Ho West for the Third Quarter.

The DCE noted that as part of his engagements he interacts with the Chiefs and Queens every quarter on various developmental activities.

 He took the opportunity to explain the current internal and global economic issues and also updated them on progress made in Ho West as well as new initiatives while answering questions posed.

There was review of joint activities with DCE including breast cancer, teenage pregnancy and women entrepreneurship training.

Hon. Apau promised to give additional financial support for the Queen mothers for various joint advocacy programs.

The Queen mothers were sensitized on the upcoming Household Registration Exercise being conducted by the Ghana National Household Registry.  They were encouraged to create awareness in their communities.
