HO WEST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY ORGANIZES STAFF DURBAR

The District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor has called on staff to be punctual and avoid lateness to work. He made this statement when the District Assembly organized its staff durbar on Thursday 13th April, 2023 to review the first quarter activities for 2023, discuss second quarter activities to be undertaken and also addressed staff concerns to enhance service delivery.

Addressing the staff, Mr. Kporngor noted that punctuality to work is key to the improvement of service delivery in the district. He stated that staff who absent themselves from work without permission will be queried whiles those that leave office early were advised to desist from it.

He took the opportunity to thank staff for their support and contributions during the burial of the late Ms. Justine Kupomey at Fiahor. She was a staff of the Ho West District Assembly with the Budget Unit.

Mr. Kporngor gave an overview of the various projects and activities implemented within the first quarter. He also informed staff about the upcoming Performance Contract Assessment and urged them to remain committed and play their roles to enable the Assembly achieve its objectives.

On Welfare of staff, a three (3) member interim Committee was constituted. The names of the members are Mr. Roland Kumfu, Director for Social Welfare and Community Development, Mr. Daniel Kumordzie, Assistant Human Resource Manager and Madam Beatrice Boateng, Assistant Director I.

The durbar ended with an open forum session and all the concerns raised by staff were addressed by the District Coordinating Director.
