The Ho West District Assembly has engaged Bakpe Community on Tuesday 6th June, 2023. The purpose of the engagement was to communicate the decisions of DISEC on cattle ranching in the area.
It was resolved that the Cattle Herdsmen will be invited at the District Assembly for further discussion.
The Chief of Helfi, Togbe Kwame Tsrah was grateful for the visit. He urged the Assembly to enforce the law to prevent further destruction of farms in the area.
The District Coordinating Director Mr. Wisdom Kporngor called on residents to exercise patients as Assembly resolves the situation.
Present were the District Coordinating Director, the District Police Commander, the District NIB Officer, the Hon. Assembly Member, some Heads of Departments/Units, Chiefs, Elders and people of Hlefi and Bakpe
