HO WEST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY ORGANIZES SECOND QUARTER INTER-SERVICE AND SECTORAL COLLABORATION & COOPERATION MEETING
The Ho West District Assembly organized its Second Quarter Inter-Service and Sectoral Collaboration and Cooperation (ISCC) meeting on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the District Assembly Hall.
The objective of the meeting was to foster synergies among various governmental departments, public institutions, and community stakeholders, with the aim of enhancing service delivery and driving sustainable development initiatives across the district.
The District Chief Executive of Ho West in his address emphasized the significance of collaboration, stating, “We must move beyond departments mandates. Only through working together can we truly make a difference in the lives of the citizens.”
For his part, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor highlighted that the meeting would facilitate a deepen understanding of each other’s roles and responsibilities. It would also identify potential areas for collaboration and develop joint strategies to address pressing issues in the district.
Representatives from various sectors, including the Ghana Health Service, Ghana Education Service, Birth and Death, Kalakpa Reserve, Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), National Ambulance Service, National Youth Authority, Information Services Department, Complementary Education Agency (CEA), National Identification Authority (NIA), Center for National Culture, Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) and all Departments of the Assembly, participated in the meeting.
Heads of Departments/Agencies presented their 2023 First Quarter Progress Report for discussion.
Mr. Ebenezer Nkrumah, the District Planning Officer, took the opportunity to guide the members through the new quarterly progress reporting template.
