The Ho West District Assembly on Thursday, 27 September, 2023, held its Third Quarter Management meeting at the District Assembly Hall. The meeting aimed to discuss the decisions made during the General Assembly meeting held on 31st August , 2023.
Mr. Wisdom Kporngor, the District Coordinating Director, opened the meeting and expressed gratitude to the Heads of Department/Units for attending. He emphasized that the meeting was in compliance with the Local Governance Act 2016, Act 936 sec.18. He urged all Heads of Departments/Units to ensure the execution of decisions relevant to their departments/Units and provide reports accordingly.
Hon. Ernest Victor Apau, the District Chief Executive of Ho West, extended his congratulations to staff for their excellence in all Assembly Assessments. He acknowledged their efforts in aligning with the shared goals of development to improve service delivery in the district. He further urged the Officers not to relent on their effort but to continue the teamwork to pass the District Assemblies Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT VII) which is ongoing across MMDAs countrywide.
Hon. Apau also emphasized the importance of keeping proper records of departmental/Units activities, as they play significant role in the Performance of the district. He also urged timely submission of reports to the Planning Unit to facilitate the collation of data.
